Zoe Joyce Orth is noted for her beautiful depictions of landscapes, gardens, and flowers which showcase her unique style of impressionistic oil painting and her lively use of color. Most of the settings in Zoe's paintings are combinations of places and things that she has seen and experienced in her extensive travels throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. When not traveling, Zoe, an avid gardener, has a constant source of inspiration in the lovely gardens that she has nurtured at her home in Sonoma, Calif.

Zoe was born in San Francisco and has lived in the Bay Area her entire life. Initially a self-taught artist, she also received art instruction while attending numerous public and private schools. Her art work is in numerous private collections throughout the United States, Europe, and the Middle East.

Having been active in California art circles for more than forty years, Zoe has contributed to various regional art groups and is a member of the Artist Guild of San Francisco, San Francisco Women Artists, and the Impressionist League of San Francisco.
